Who doesn’t love having homemade soup on a cold and rainy day? This one is perfect for weeknights because it contains a lot of shortcuts! You can substitute egg noodles, white rice or brown rice for the wild rice. Just make sure to cook it separately before adding to the soup mixture.

We all KNOW we should drink more of it. But most of us tend to forget or fill up on other beverages with extra calories and sugar/sweeteners. Here’s the deal, as far as taking care of your mind and body, drinking water is probably the cheapest and easiest thing you can do! I recommend my clients drink HALF of their body weight in ounces of water daily. (So if you weigh 160 lbs... you should be drinking 80 oz of water.)
